Seafarer Of The Year
A lot of Magazines give awards for the best boat of the year (usually whoever advertised the most in the mag would win) or the most famous cruiser of the year (whoever sold the most books that year) so we have decided to get into the fray by giving a "Seafarer's Award."
What we are looking for is someone who does a lot for the seafaring cruisers out there. And we want input from you!
Send a couple photos of someone you know who has done a lot for local sailors in your area and tell us about them. We will run their story in the mag and then, in the Seafaring Edition in November, we will announce the winner. Know someone? Send a photo or two, and a brief reason why you think they are special.
Send it to: editor@seafaring.com . Who knows, they may win!
